Thats called just TCP settings :(... BIS-B routes traffic thru the IPPP service book (so it goes actually thru RIM gateway and not your cell co. wap gateway). Most provider (well at least outside the US, just offer unlimited access via the IPPP and not thru the APN.. im trying to find how do to the BIS-B tunneling (like JiveTalk does it for example) So far RIM support doesnt want to say how to do it.. that i need to be a registered developer with them in order for them to tell me.. I sent an application.. lets see how it goes :/

Sure, basically I have a flag that says that the user is using BIS in which case I append ";deviceside=true"; to the URL itself. The user's phone then must have the appropriate APN settings. I hope that helps.

Was wondering if you could share the way you used on your APP to make it work on BIS users, I searched everywhere for informatino on that, and seems like RIM want to have that information hidden so ppl senda support ticket on their system.

Hope you could help.. thanks!
